
Kasamba Jerry Jerry has Bachelors Degree in Marketing with over 40 years community driven experience; working with various national and grassroots organisations including; Community Action Plan (CAP) and Women Empowerment Programme (WEP); before joining CEFORD in 2000 up to 2014 as Programme Lead for Nebbi cluster offices. Jerry later worked with Ker Alur as a Programme Manager and Nile Dove as a creative writer.
Jerry is a certified project management professional with skills in project design, project planning, participatory techniques, gender mainstreaming, poverty analysis, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation. He has completed a course in Environmental Justice from the University of East Angila (2019). His climate-action areas of interest include recreational tourism planning, enthnobotany, and the politics of environmental policy. He is a recipient of Next Level Naturalist with a nature score of 4.17+ managed by the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC). This means, he loves and connects with nature in his daily life.
In 2020, his love for folklore led the king of Alur to confer on him the royal honour of duty for outstanding heritage education work in Alur Kingdom.
